Natural neurodevelopmental variation characterised by an abundance of attention dictated by internal drivers, neural hyperconnectivity, high sensitivity to sensory input, monotropism, an interest-driven dopamine system that needs novelty and variety, and varying processing styles; ADHD distress traits include inattention, impulsivity, hyperactivity (physically and/or mentally), and mood instability.
