Parents / Carers

Information for caregivers of neurodivergent people

Who (except the young person themself) better understands the strengths and pressures of a neurodivergent young person than their parents/carers? There is no substitute for the depth of experience that a parent/carer brings to the table for their individual child. In order to be the strongest possible advocate, though, parents/carers also need to have the best information in their toolbox.

Neurodiversity is a biological fact. It's not a perspective, an approach, a belief, or a political position.
